Khrystyna is a young Ukrainian woman displaced by the ongoing conflict to a new life in western Ukraine. She enrolled in an IOCC livelihood project and earned her a small grant.
Maryam is a young Syrian refugee who lives with her family in Azraq camp in Jordan. When her throat began to hurt, IOCC’s clinic scheduled her an appointment with a specialist, who diagnosed her with tonsillitis.
IOCC supports the Al-Islah center in Lebanon by offering training and operational support to staff, as well as sustainable energy upgrades (including a new solar power system) to help reduce costs.
Ms. Pat is very grateful for all the work IOCC volunteers put in to repair her storm damaged house. She passes on the kindness by helping in her own community.
Karina, a 44-year-old mother of two, fled the conflict in Ukraine in 2022 to find refuge in Poland with her family. Because of high living costs, the family was forced to relocate again.
